CADG is available as a consultant to assist customers with the setup of an automated AutoCAD drawing library. This process can be achieved side by side with the customer's personnel or a library of intelligent drawings may be developed off-site with input from customer personnel.

More complex libraries may contain Microsoft Access Databases which can be used to select various options associated with drawing elements such as card readers, door locks, status contacts and so on. Pre-configured drawing setups can be generated which match a customers approved hardware sets. By use of this customizable database with associated form views, an operator with a limited AutoCAD skill set is able to produce professional drawings that meet their company standard hardware sets with ease.

	Once the library drawings have been reviewed and approved by the customers technical personnel the drawing sets can be used with confidence as electrical interconnects and details have been pre-approved.
	Drawings for new jobs can be quickly configured and plotted for review and markup as required by Project Designers. Time is saved at both the CAD operator level and the Project Designer level.
	Each of the library source files can be configured into hundreds of variations, keeping source file management time to a minimum
	A professional, consistent presentation of technical information is presented to the installing personnel.

Capabilities

CADG has developed Microsoft databases and associated drawing libraries for our System Integration partners as well as some of the world's leading Access Control manufactures. These custom libraries are intentionally produced using basic programming and script writing skills to allow our customer's design personnel to edit or add features to their libraries as desired.

We have found that most of our customers have decided to have CADG develop and maintain the libraries and associated databases off-site as the skill set is not a core competency of their design group and they would rather have them concentrate on day to day tasks and designs.

Develop Source Library Drawings: CADG will develop source drawings based upon the individual customer's needs using preferred vendor equipment.
Review of Source Library Drawings: CADG will work with customer's technical personnel to ensure that the source drawing files are accurate and completely detail the required parameters established by the customer.
Development of Databases, Scripts and Forms: CADG will work with the customer to establish desired database selection forms and the associated script writing, programming and drawing development required.
Training for Library Users: CADG will work with the customer to train the library users to ensure competency.
Support and Maintenance: CADG is available for support and maintenance of drawings and databases on a contract or hourly basis.
